How long can I store things whilst the work is done?+
As long as the job takes. The minimum stay is two weeks. Your first payment covers four weeks, and any unused time beyond the two-week minimum is refunded. There is no maximum, so a job that overruns just means you stay a bit longer.
What size unit do I need to clear a room?+
As a rough guide, 25 sq ft is garden-shed sized, 50 sq ft takes the contents of a one-bed flat, and 100 sq ft (a single garage) takes a typical three-bed house. Our size guide gives a room-by-room estimate.
Is there a deposit?+
No. There is no deposit. Your first payment is taken when you move in.
Can I get to my things during the build?+
Yes. Access is 24/7 with your personal PIN, so you can drop off or collect on a weekend or after work. The site is staffed Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Can I store leftover paint and building materials?+
Not paint, oil, gas, aerosols or other flammable or hazardous substances. Those are excluded items under our terms. Furniture, boxes, appliances and fixtures are fine.
Do I need insurance?+
Yes. All customers must take out our storage insurance. Cover costs £5.99 per month for £1,000 of contents cover, in addition to your storage charge. Contact us if you need cover for a higher value.
How do I end my storage when the work is finished?+
Give us 7 days' written notice. Email or WhatsApp is fine. Any prepaid storage beyond that is refunded, pro-rata to the day.
