Who we are
Space Buddy Ltd is a self-storage business based at St Stephens Mill, Ripley Street, Bradford, BD5 7JW. We’re the “data controller” for personal information collected through this website and our booking process.
What we collect
- Your name, email, and phone number when you join the waitlist or reserve a unit.
- Your postcode (so we know where you’re moving from / to).
- Optional details you give us about what you’re storing or your move-in date.
- Basic technical information (browser type, anonymous usage analytics) to keep the site working and improve it.
Why we collect it
- To get back to you about your enquiry or reservation.
- To prepare your unit and access details for opening day.
- To send you Founding 50 updates (only if you’ve opted in).
- To meet our legal obligations as a UK business.
Who we share with
Nobody we don’t have to. We use Supabase for our customer database (servers in the EU/UK) and PostHog for anonymous product analytics. We don’t sell your data. We don’t pass it to advertisers. If we ever need to share data with a delivery partner or court order, we’ll tell you.
How long we keep it
While you’re a customer (or waitlist member) plus 6 years after, to meet HMRC and accounting requirements. After that, we delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see what we hold, correct it, delete it, or take it elsewhere. Email hello@spacebuddy.co.uk and we’ll respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you think we’ve mishandled your data.

This site uses cookies for basic functionality (form submissions) and anonymous analytics (PostHog). We don’t use advertising cookies and we don’t track you across other sites.
