Space Buddy storage units start from £8.00 per week for our 10 sq ft lockers — or £4.00/week with the launch offer (50% off your first 12 months, for every customer). Nine sizes run from 10 to 200 sq ft; the largest is £161.50/week standard, or £80.75/week with the offer. No deposit required. The minimum stay is two weeks. All storage prices include VAT; compulsory storage insurance is £5.99 a month on top.

No deposit required at all. Your first payment at move-in covers four weeks of storage; the minimum stay is two weeks and any unused time beyond that is refunded. No large lump sums, no refund hassles when you leave.

Yes. All customers must take out our storage insurance. Cover costs £5.99 per month for £1,000 of contents cover, in addition to your storage charge. Contact us if you need cover for a higher value.

Yes. Every storage price on this site includes VAT. Storage insurance is shown separately at £5.99 per month.

The minimum stay is two weeks. There is no maximum — you can stay for a fortnight, a month, or several years. Your first payment covers four weeks, and any unused time beyond the two-week minimum is refunded. Cancel with just 1 week's notice at any time. No penalty, no exit fees.

Yes. Customer access is 24/7, 365 days a year. Midnight, 5am, Christmas Day — your unit, your schedule. You get your own personal PIN code for the gate, and your unit is locked with your own padlock (free for new customers). No staff needed, just turn up. The site itself is staffed Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm, for anything that needs a person.

Yes. During staffed hours (Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm), we can accept deliveries from couriers on your behalf. We'll notify you when a delivery arrives and place it securely in your unit. Particularly useful for e-commerce businesses using us for stock storage.

We have multiple layers of security: 24/7 HD CCTV covering all areas, individual unit alarms (each unit has its own alarm only you can disarm), personal PIN codes for gate entry, your own padlock on every unit, and flood-lit premises. St Stephens Mill, Ripley Street is a solid, secure building. We take security seriously.

It depends on what you're storing. As a rough guide: 10 sq ft is a locker for a student's belongings or a few boxes; 25 sq ft is garden-shed sized; 50 sq ft takes a one-bed flat; 75 sq ft a two- to three-bed home; 100 sq ft (a single garage) a typical three-bed house; 150 sq ft a four-bed house; and 200 sq ft a four- to five-bed home or business stock. No. Every new customer gets a free padlock at move-in. Your unit is locked with your own padlock, so only you hold the key, and you get into the site 24/7 with your personal PIN. No one else has your access code.

Space Buddy is at St Stephens Mill, Ripley Street, Bradford, BD5 7JW. We are 5 minutes by car from Bradford Interchange (the main train and bus station), 8 minutes from the University of Bradford campus, and easily accessible by car from the M606, M62, and A650. There is on-site parking.
